The Tradesmen Motorcycle Club is proud to announce that with your participation at our pokers runs in Virginia, and your gratious donations,  we were able to send a check to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., in the amount of $900.00.  That makes our three year total contribution to Fisher House $3,100.  Every little bit helps!

The Tradesmen Motorcycle Club would like to thank all of our friends and family for a great riding season and fantastic times.  We did a lot of charity work this year benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and Fisher House.  We also kept the streets of Montgomery County free of debris by adopting a highway.  We also held simultaneous toy runs on November 14th; one in Maryland and one in Virginia.  Both we’re very successful.  We’re proud to serve and love the friendships we’ve been able to share.

From the Virginia side of the river, here are some pictures from the United States Marine Corp Reserve, Toy for Tots event held on November 14th.  This Toy run was co-sponsored by The Wednesday Night Crew, The Knights of Iron MC and the Tradesmen MC, but give all the credit where it’s due - Rusty Hall from WNC did all of the hard work.  I can tell you that we had a ball with the Marines that attended, gathered up some really nice toys and even a few dollars of loose change for charity.  Enjoy the look on all of our faces as we realize that we really do receive more than we provide.

Kilroy’s of Springfield, VA is a great place to start a run.  Folks are gathering.

…and enjoying a beverage or two.

Getting ready to ride out.

On the Road

The group rides very tightly, especially when we’ve stopped.

Leaving Patriot Cafe, Fairfax, VA.  They are great hosts as well.

The Marines seem happy to take a picture with Rusty, but…

… they really seem happier with this picture.

A great time was had by all.

We were honored to receive the Commander’s Award for the part we played in Sponsoring this event.  Thanks to Kilroy’s (Springfield, VA),  Patriot Cafe (Fairfax, VA), Buffalo Wing University, (Fairfax, VA) and Peyton Place (Springfield, VA).  We hope to see you there next year.  You’ll be glad you did.

The Jingle Bell Blues Toy Run happened on the Maryland side of the river.  This toy run benefitted local church efforts to see that neighborhood children weren’t forgotten at Christmas.  The weather included some moisture, but that didn’t bother those who stopped in to donate toys and cash.  I think you’ll agree when you look at the pictures, that everyone enjoyed the ride, the relaxation, the prizes and the friendship that occurred that day.

You can’t win, if you don’t play.  Here’s our beautiful run sheet.

Folks meeting at Memories Charcoal House

Notice how the Treasurer always has his hand on the cash?

Some of the guys pose for another natural photo.

Toys are beginning to gather and multiply!

The most popular spot at a Maryland bar is in the smoking lounge.

Time to move the Toys.

On to New York J&P Pizza, another fine host location.

…and then to Wilcom’s.  What a great place to meet and greet.

The ladies gather to plot against Ketchup, because he’s annoying.

Freak and Peter Panhead are ready to announce the winners.

There’s no sore winner here!!!

Another satisfied Winner.

The Tradesmen Motorcycle Club would like to thank everyone that joined in on the fun.  If you missed it this year, you can bank on it being even better next year.

DelMarVa Bike Week 2009

Many of the Tradesmen MC traveled to Ocean Maryland to celebrate the annual gathering of bike.  It’s our pleasure to host our brothers and sisters, friends and neighbors at the infamous Admiral Inn courtyard parking lot.  We thank you all for joining us and we hope you had as much fun as we did.  Here are a couple of pictures from there.

Gathering begins early in the day, and the circle grows all day long

Folks mingle, chat and taste test the beverages

Photos of friends mugging for the camera

Front row seats are very important in this spectator sport.

Roughly 70 bikes parked in the courtyard that supported 13 rooms.

Distraction are unveiled to motivate the passing motorists to become dumb idiots.

Yep!  She was distracting.

The morning after, well ornimented chopper
